Our company has dealt with agriculture, animal husbandry and food trade since 1992.
In the beginning we prepared traditional meat dishes for our own use, but in 2012 we decided to use our 20 years of experience in order to set up a meat processing plant and a meat shop, so the public can learn about the traditional meat specialties of our region, Viile Satu Mare. Then we also decided upon the name of the brand, Weinberger, which refers to our native village as well as to the meat processing plant and farm. Our goal is to offer our customers healthy, fresh and high quality meat, preserving the traditions of the region, preparing sausages the same way our grandparents and great grandparents did. We raise pigs and cattle at our Weinberger farm from Viile Satu Mare, paying particular attention to the fact that our animals live in natural conditions and benefit from natural nutrition, excluding industrial fodder. On our pig farm you may find the traditional domestic swine and an old Hungarian breed, Mangalitsa. Our cattle farm includes breeds like Romanian red mottled cattle, buffaloes and Angus cattle.
The animals graze in the pasture from spring to autumn, then live in a semi-closed system during winter, which renders the Weinberger meat its natural flavour and aspect, such a rare quality nowadays. When processing meat, we take special care in preserving our ancestors’ traditions and recipes. At the meat processing plant from Viile Satu Mare we make sausages, ham and salami as well as less traditional products like hot dogs or spicy minced meat. One thing is common in our products: they do not contain any preservatives or artificial additives. Our shop is on No. 4 Hasdeu Street in Satu Mare, near Food Market No. 1.
